The Meat Products (England)(Amendment) Regulations 2008
This refers to meat products which have the appearance of a cut, slice, joint etc.
These amend the 2003 Regulations to clarify that added starch or animal protein does not need to be included in the name of such a product. Previously these were listed in the exemptions only if they were there for technolgical reasons but it is very difficult saying what is or is not for technological reasons so it is now for all added starch or protein. |

Testimonials |
The evaluator was pleasant, friendly and very helpful in explaining the standard to all staff he spoke to and questioned during the evaluation.
It is a very stressful time during the BRC audit. Fortunately, the evaluator made this more pleasant for us in the way he conducted the audit.
